Chief Woodworker/Installer: Nelson Fru Awah
Nelson, is a carpenter and woodworker graduate based at Mabanda, along Nouvelle Route, Bonaberi Douala. Nelson has been part of the kitchen, bedroom, and office installation teams across many upmarket hotel projects in Douala and Yaounde. Nelson has also been building cabinets and installing for private clients across Littoral, North West & Southwest regions of Cameroon. He is a talented craftsman and woodworker, and with our popular power tools, rest assured Nelson will achieve a finish worthy of your satisfaction. Nelson runs an installation team of technical school graduates.
Project Manager in Chief: Daniel Ngu Fru
Daniel owns a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Mediterranean University which is preceded by a Law Degree from the University of Buea. After his Masters Degree, Daniel returned to Douala, Cameroon where he took over the daily management of Fru & Fru Construction Ltd, a renowned civil engineering company in Douala. Daniel is passionate about building and very adept with organising and overseeing building sites. Daniel ensures that once we are tasked with a job, the process is managed and delivered within the agreed time frame.
Managing Director: Denis Makia
A 2002 Law Degree graduate from the University of Buea, and a 2010 Ma in Marketing & Advertising graduate from Coventry University, England, Denis worked across various sectors within the UK Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms (KBB) industry, as a KBB designer and Regional Business Development Manager for over 16 years.
In 2014, Denis conceived Cameroon Kitchen Designs, designing kitchens and bathrooms for Cameroonians living abroad. In 2019, Sophia & Roberts Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms was established to serve the Central and West African markets, with Cameroon his homeland as main focus.
From 2018, Denis himself got into woodworking, and building furniture, all culminating in the acquisition of multiple kitchen, bathroom, plumbing and tiling qualifications from the renowned Coventry Building and Welding Academy in 2021.
